I still would like to do a lot more work before we leave. I would like to complete one more chapter of my text before we leave, as well as two smallish proofs so that I can submit them by an August 26th deadline.
We stayed up late to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Jim Caple said that the lighting of the cauldron defied the laws of nature (I can't find the link). I stayed up to watch it because of him. It was okay, although a little lame. I was mad at Jim. He will be my sworn enemy for the next 15 minutes because he made me stay up late for no good reason.
Speaking of the Olympics: I know Emily Cross. Everyone hope that she does well.
We are going to Grezzo tonight. Which is awesome.
