Happy birthdays to Cuz and Tsjaz.

I am excited to work on one of my three research projects/one textbook project, so I am ending this post here.

"Oh, crap. Look at this! Now I'm burdened with a husband and several tiny pink children, more cash than I can reasonably manage... "
"That means you're winning."
"Really?"
"Yes. Cash equals good."
"Ooh! I'm so pleased. Can I trade in the children for more cash?"

Trains and Trolleys!

Here was my day on Saturday: I was picked up at 6:45 am by Princess Cut, one of my favorites out of Skye's friends. He took me to the trolley museum, where he volunteers. I spent the morning driving and riding on trolleys. I loved it. Then I ran 8.5 miles to the next town to catch the Amtrak Downeaster home. Then Skye and I watched Angel

We started season 5 of Buffy yesterday, which I remember as my favorite. However, I remember season 3 as my second favorite, but I liked season 4 better than season 3 this time around. I was really looking forward to the ending of the first episode of season 5, but it wasn't exactly as I remember. How I remember it (and I think this would have been better, although I am not one to question Joss) is that it ended on: "What are you doing here?"


The answer for both of them is "no."

At some point I might talk about the wedding/honeymoon/summer school. However, it is getting late, and other stuff is happening. Needless to say, it was all wonderful. I think that Tsjaz was too hard on himself - it was a perfect toast, not a "double."

I had a dream last night that I worked booking airline tickets for employees of the Empire. I reported directly to Darth Vader. He wasn't a very nice boss, and verbally demeaned us each day. Last night, he said to my co-worker on the right: "You are a short man, and your nose is too large for your face." To my co-worker on my left, he said: "Your wife doesn't love you. You cannot satisfy her sexually." When it was my turn, he looked at my Twins cap and said: "Carlos Gomez was recently accused of a DUI*."

That really stung.


* - he didn't really get a DUI
